She is a chemical engineer who is passionate about energy, an entrepreneur and intrapreneur, a self published author and a passionate problem solver.

about vome
Vome Aghoghovbia studied MEng Chemical Engineering at University College London (UCL), where she graduated with first class honours in 2015. In 2016, she won first prize in the Milton Keynes Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Young Engineers Award which was awarded by the IChemE President.
Vome has worked in different organisations, such as Google and British Petroleum (BP). She is passionate about Energy and she currently works at Bulb Energy, one of the UK's fastest growing energy company as an Energy Specialist.
Vome is the author of a non-fiction inspirational book titled 'Everyone Deserves to Sparkle'. Since the book launched, she has been invited to give talks in schools such as, Pembroke School South Australia and St Mary's School Cambridge. She is very passionate about developing people; helping them embrace their uniqueness and utilise their gifts. She recently started 'The Sparkle Brunch Club', an initiative to inspire young women under 30 to sparkle with purpose. Through books and stories, brunch clubs and talks, the aim is to set young women on a journey of embracing their uniqueness, unearthing their potential and using their gifts to make a difference in the world.
Vome and her sisters co-founded and run a business called DVees which aims to increase the influence of West African food globally through flavours and products. In addition, they recently started a foundation called 'The Aghoghovbia Foundation' which aims to help young people understand the importance of a good education and provide support to enable them obtain such an education."
