Ep 8 - Building Sustainably and Beating the Odds with Oyeyemi Buraimo, co- founder of Virgos Lounge
“Quiet confidence” is the word that comes to mind when I think about this beautiful woman.
For years, I had seen, heard and even owned the brand Virgos Lounge but never knew that 3 (now 2) Nigerian woman were behind the brand that I had seen stocked in Topshop & on ASOS and other online boutiques.
I am always inspired by founders who bring products to market and meeting Oye was no different. What I am most inspired by is her focus, consistency and desire to build her brand sustainably. A truly admirable quality especially in an age when the majority want fast wins and hits.
So many major keys were unleashed in this episode - We discuss everything from ideation, manufacturing, dealing with customers, rising from mistakes and staying focused on building sustainably. Take your pens & notepads out and press play.
