ABOUT ANDY

Andy Ayim MBE is a creator, thinker and humanitarian best known for his work advocating for diversity, equity and inclusion in tech. He leads with empathy and believes in the importance of role models in business looking more representative to wider society.

As founder of the Angel Investing School, with a vision to get more women and people of colour investing in startups to create economic prosperity and close the racial wealth gap. The school does this by delivering coaching, training and community.

As an angel investor, his behaviour is no different, investing in over a dozen gap closing companies such as Tambua Health and Whering solving problems for people and the planet.

Andy was voted top 10 BAME in tech in The FT and was recognised in 2021 with a Queen's honours MBE medal in recognition for his contribution to diversity and technology in the UK.
